The Halo Baby Seat Safety System
Every year babies die or are seriously injured because they are left in cars that become dangerously hot or cold. The Sisters of Invention have developed the HALO Baby Car Seat Safety System to protect babies against this serious risk.
The easily installed car seat pad fits most standard car seats for infants through toddlers and works with your HALO key fob monitor. The system is activated whenever a baby is placed in the car seat.
If a baby is accidentally forgotten, or if the vehicle becomes dangerously hot or cold, the key fob will sound a reminder. If the baby is not quickly returned to a safe condition, the car seat pad itself will sound an alarm to alert anyone in the immediate area to the fact that a baby is in danger and needs assistance. This system assures peace of mind, no matter who’s minding baby.
How the Halo Child Seat Safety System Works...
-The Halo Seat Pad is placed snuggly under the car seat cushion.
-When the baby is placed in the car seat the system is activated.
-If the driver exits the car without removing the baby from the car seat, an alarm sounds on the key pod.
-This reminds the driver that the baby has been left in the car!
-If the temperature in the car, becomes dangerously hot or cold for baby, an alarm will again sound on the driver's key ring.
-Should the driver fails to respond after a pre-determined time, a louder alarm using a voice synthesizer will sound "baby in danger" alerting those near that the baby is in a dangerous situation!
-Future upgrades to the Halo Child Seat Safety System will allow the system to call a parents phone number, call 911 and interact with GPS systems.
This alarm will activate whether the driver is in or out of the car. If the driver does not hear or respond to the alarm within a predetermined elapsed time a louder alarm, using a voice synthesizer, saying "Baby in Danger" will activate from the seat pad itself, hopefully alerting passers by to the situation.
